Cyclaire bicycle pumps are designed to be easy to use for anybody. You use them from a standing position so that you do not have to bend over to pump your tyres, and the long pulling action is much lighter work than trying to push air through a conventional pump; because the pull-cord is so long, Cyclaire puts more air per stroke into your tyres than any mini-pump on the market, and the new Cyclaire Rapid is the world's fastest mini–pump! You can watch the video demo here
First turn your wheel until the valve is at the bottom. Use your thumb to remove the hose from it's storage channel and connect the nozzle to the valve of your bicycle tyre, placing the pump on the ground beside your tyre.
Find the locking lever on the nozzle and twist it 90° to the right. You will feel the nozzle clamping onto your valve, so that air cannot escape and the nozzle cannot be blown off the valve.
Put the ball of your foot on top of the Cyclaire Pump to hold it firmly in place on the ground. Grab the handle located at the top-left of the pump, and stand up straight. Now you are ready to begin pumping!
Pull the handle repeatedly to inflate your tyres! Most people find that the more effective technique is to pull between thigh and shoulder height.  The further you pull the handle the more air you put into your tyre.
Cyclaire bicycle pumps are available with a special carry case, which is used to attach the pump to the bike. This could be inside the frame of the bike, or behind the saddle.
If you ride a full-suspension bike, or if you already carry water bottles and other things inside the frame, you can put the pump behind the saddle. Even if you already carry your things in a rucksack or pannier, the carry case is useful for keeping tyre levers or a spare inner-tube with the pump because it has an extra pocket underneath for added convenience.
You can see just how compact Cyclaire pumps are, and how easily they can be put into a rucksack or bag. whether you choose to take your pump on your ride with or without the case, you'll be glad you've got your Cyclaire with you next time you get a puncture!
